  After the General Store closed for the season, we took the time to "vacation" in Northern Michigan and sample the places that make our must visit list based on recommendations from friends and visitors. Izabela and Folklore was such a find that we knew sharing their wine, cider was a must for 2026.

  The theme of the Horton Bay 4th of July Parade this year is....celebrating Horton Bay's 150th Annivesary!! Horton Creek Band live on the front porch at noon. Parade at 1pm. Hot Dogs and drinks available at the general store with live music following the parade.
